I talked to you, timakro, about fixing those vanilla servers and it was done (thanks again). Other than that, I have no idea what he's talking about. Looking at gll's post history, it's probably a good idea to ignore his posts.
Anyways, about DDNet compatibility with vanilla, perhaps vanilla being a mod of DDNet, thus reversing the role, would be something agreeable for me (though I guess we can't change the fact on which is original). Then should it be called "vanilla mod" then? Or should DDNet just be completely separated from vanilla? I think that defeats the purpose of being open source and modifiable though.

DDNet should be completly separated from vanilla. If you want vanilla64 just get this mod https://www.teeworlds.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12036
