You are so wrong. That's not how it work. It's funny when people start arguing about think they don't know shit about... Aoe own the intellectual property of his map and he can licence them, and in france at least Aoe have the Right to withdrawal or reconsider

Author’s prerogatives

I guess it's a bit more complicated cause we all come from different country and I don't know about law in other country but if ddnet would have french server 100% aoe could retire his map of all french server.

Changing parts of the map and redesign have already been done, look at the famous map run_guy_25. But it is a lot of work if you want to do it, do it but I guess it isn't worth lol. And using trick or part that's already been used before like edgehook or other isn't covered by author right, people have the right to get inspired lol. Or every fantasy book would be sued for plagiarism of the world JRR Tolkien invented.

Not that much work. Just change some tele/freeze/hook/unhook blocks and change overall colours = feels like a new map

Ok in this post we talked about corrupted admins and stuffy stuff... anyway, guys, i never saw something of this... just show to us what happened with some proof, or just talk about saying WHAT happened and why do you think this. The world changes and deen can't stay here forever. DDnet will too he can't be the same... but deen made all this work for let us enjoy and so we can continue running it... better a changed ddnet that a no existing ddnet. And then i don't understand why you don't want your maps here. If you're in rage with the admins you can't threat them like that, it's just stupid and childish and, in all my years of trolling, i never had the courage for do this. Don't you remember your first map that you published on ddnet? Do you remember the feelings that you had when you see it first time on an official server? Now, for you, make maps and release them is normal, as it has to be... but you mustn't forget that you was a noob mapper too a lot of time ago...
