Why should we shut down DDNet? Because you and Aoe dont want to play there anymore? Logical .. not. Imo everybody who is not happy with this new decisions and say something like 'ddnet will be destroyed with this' dont even understand that some people make an effort for keep DDNet alive. In the past i saw that leute's decision were often very good and right. Anyway nothing changed, he was always like an admin so don't complain, his name is just red now. We should change admin colours guys, some users think people get more evil because of this red.
@babak2010 bb
I think its not only Aoe and me who are thinking in that way. Anyway.. in MY opinion u can shut DDNet down cause i will not play there anymore.
If u think it's all good now.. believe what u want.

It's so funny because you all will still play on DDNet so this discussion is pretty unnecessary.

@Aoe Finally i understood a bit hi_leute_gll, (i just talked with Soreu) so what happens with hi_leute_gll is that maybe he say some thinks in a way that are not to friendly, example if there is a map, it's good but it have 2 parts that are boring/bad, he won't tell you that all is great & to change these 2 parts, he will tell you that these 2 are shits. and while everyone thinks that he said whole map is shit, he thinks that just these 2 things have to be changed to make it great.

Also, when you hate a person, you don't want to see other's point view, so you can't understand what he thinks, and so, all goes to shit.

Maybe hi_leute_gll can change a bit when saying these thinks and be a bit more friendly-ish.

But hi_leute_gll rly worked on ddnet (maybe you didn't saw, but he did), i think he is more than able to get admins rights.

Yeah, i fighted against hi_leute, i did't undertood him, but if you talk a bit maybe you can solve some problems.

Also, i don't get why you want to leave ddnet, just because you don't like a person that worked behind ddnet, but you only got bad thinks from him, and for that you will abandon this amazing game for that?, pls re-think about that.

"if teacher you don't like would become school headmaster you wouldn't change school" - Soreu

I just got this from a conversation with soreu, maybe im wrong but i don't think so

We should wait for what happens. Most of people don't see, who in the staff does what, so you shouldn't judge about it.
Maybe even these ddnet hate comments should be removed. DDNet will still be there for the players. If many people disagree with a decision from the staff, the decisions can be reserved/changed. I also disagree with some decisions, but thats not really a reason to start hating anything.

If somebody wants to talk about map quality, he can do it with me (maybe even in this forum). It seems like many people don't know much about mapping.

If DDNet actually wants the best for it's players, then it should listen to all opinions (and not remove any comments). I don't have a stance on hi_leute since I don't really know anything about him. However, I think the sheer amount of posts that were made against him in so little time is something that should be taken into consideration.

With all respect to your try of a neutral way dinner. Keep always in mind who actually wrote the posts here and take this into your consideration.

Just a little comment to these upcoming complaints and discussions about leaving DDNet.

Are you serious? You played on DDNet for much time (maybe even for the whole 2 years) and now you are going to leave just because one of nine admins? Nobody of the guys who mentioned leaving DDNet because of this really seems to care about the community or DDNet then anyway. If you want to give up everything (like friends in the community and your maps) it's totally up to you! I will not cry a single tear for anybody who will leave just for this reason. But you might watch how it will work before commenting here in an emotional way. Luckily I didn't get our community known for such careless decisions... YET.

I will not force you to be the best friend of every admin of DDNet. You should judge the decisions they will make.

It's not my plan to influence anybody here, I just mention that every chosen admin did a lot in the last days to keep DDNet alive. I've been in close contact with them and I can support their status! I don't think I'm known here for fast, stupid or reckless decisions. Neither I'm known for dissenting opinions. But I think we are on a good way right now. We have a lot of support by people who really care about the future of DDNet. Who try to improve the base we already have.

I'm not asking anybody here to keep playing on DDNet. I guess most of you are old enough to make their own decisions. But I thought you'd be clever enough to give changes a chance and respect decisions like this, as well.

So I'm not going to comment this pointless discussion again. The objective sight got lost here.

Did deen leave because he didn't care? Or because he did care? I don't think you can assume the players, who are the ones with the most hours into ddnet, somehow secretly hate their own community. We believe the current ddnet staff is being influenced in a bad way by some. We thinking kicking more level headed admins like Welf for no good reason is unfair. The "admins" making all the decisions hardly play at all anymore for all I know. I don't think the proper way to listen to feedback is just to say "screw it I won't cry for you."
