Didnt have the people that "forced to finish that map" felling also on maps they are failed 20 times? If the map is creative or not is not that big of a deal for the player i think. For longer maps you also have the /save function.

The problem, that i see is, to not do something is ok. But to do something and after that cancel this is more than not ok. David*°Villa and myself would stop playing and i think we would not be the only ones who would.

Just in my case. I put > 110 HOURS in ddmax maps. This are just the sum of the finishing times so u can imagine its more than 200 hours playing this.

Its like removing the most hardest brutal maps, because they are not finishable for normal players. That would be not ok. Deen would have never ever done something like this

Edit: round about 80000!! finishes that would just be deleted

To rerate 10 maps new is not that big of a deal but to just remove all the points...not good.

Why not also deleting all oldschool maps, they are even more uncreative than the ddmax maps!?

Several people offered to sponsor the servers, besides that we still have the old sponsers and donations.

DDOS Protected?
Or will it be unimportant, because they all have several IPs (hope i'm not wrong)?

In the near future we will keep the same servers, so servers wich already had a protection will keep this.
There aren't any detailed plans or decisions to change them, for the moment.

Lets see if you manage to make ddnet better, or just do it worse
