10 more Race maps will be released, vote here

100 race maps is a bit much, so I decided to release just 10 more and we're done with the race server. The points per star have also been halfed for the race server.

Here you can vote on the maps to be released. You can see a small screenshot and click on it to see the full map in a preview. If you're a tester you can test them on the Nuclear #1 server, same PW as the regular test servers. Otherwise if you want to take a look, here are the maps: http://ddnet.tw/race.zip

Feel free to talk about the maps here, votes can be changed.

Update: New result: Index takes over the planning of the race server instead, maybe he can integrate these vote results into his consideration. We will probably release all the planned maps.

DDmaX was released to preserve their maps, also we're primarily a DDRace server.
Other mods aren't prioritized as much, which is why they sometimes get shut down when they don't have enough players.

I ask the community mostly for arguments, not the number of votes.

I have 0 people who want to help with the race server. (aaa is just doing it because no one else is there, and I really don't want to push it all on him after he left the race server planning some time ago.) I've been hearing nothing but complaints about the race server, even months before it started. As a compromise I offer to release the 10 most wanted maps, and this is how people react (not just here on the forum, also got nice comments ingame.) I asked you personally for help as well and you said no. So go make your own race server maybe, I really don't like the race mod and just wanted to add it because others asked for it. Now I made this compromise so that we can still release the few most wanted race maps and at least have a small selection of good race maps on DDNet.

Ofc not, but i think lot of the ppl who registered here are interested about DDNet and its servers.
The other active players are glad that they can play many different maps and mods.
So in my opinion you could extrapolate the votes.
There will be more "Yes" votes than "No".
But it's pointless to discuss.

I have 0 people who want to help with the race server.

maggi told me that he offered to help, and it would be ok if there were only 1-2maps per week.

I asked you personally for help as well and you said no.

I'm too stupid for the editor and bugfixing + i thought there are enough testers.
And i think many maps don't need to be fixed.

Now I made this compromise so that we can still release the few most wanted race maps and at least have a small selection of good race maps on DDNet.

DDRacers vote a map which they dont know by gameplay.
