The poll was more like there are more people who want the race server. Yes, not everyone voted, but in real life they also just ask a few people and then say "??% of people on the world don't like..."

In real life they care for picking a representive quantity of people, but this forum isn't one, since mostly the very active ones are here, while the average player doesn't get represented in a way it would be needed.

You can't ask every single person. Also the ones who care about it vote...

I don't think that everyone who cares voted, also if it would be really like that, then it would mean that the most people don't care about it, so i'm asking if it makes sense to spend that effort just for that ~23 people who voted yes?

the vote showed us, that many people are interested in the race server (and also, that some of them are against adding many more race maps)

i think, that many "old" racers like the race server, maybe we will need some time to reactivate these "old" racers

i guess when the race server gets famous, there will be more releases

i think we should wait some time, until we make a final decision about the race server (e.g. if the maps should be added to the solo server)

How about a race cathegory in the tester forum? Then the testers for the race mod could post a Topic about the fixed map, with a screenshot and how many points they give the map, the map itself and what do you mean by the most important information? stars and mapper? Could do that too. Less work for you.

Since everybody who likes race is so focused on the vote. I only read "XX % are for releasing them! YOU CANNOT ACT AGAINST THE VOTE!"

Those 61% are 23 players. Don't tell us now that many players, like the old racers, didn't vote, many "haters" didn't do it was well.

So should we really keep releasing racemaps for 23 players or should we focus more on DDrace, where we have 400 players in this moment? This is going to be an endless discussion anyway, but I think deen made the right decision. Comparing this behaviour to DDmax is just disgusting. We did the compromise that we offer you to play some old racemaps on DDNet as well, this was not even needed because you can play this maps on different servers as well. Now everybody is complaining about why there are just 22 maps (+10 maps). I think you should be more thankful for this, because many players, including me, still don't like this mod - but it got added! I don't think we would reactivate the old racers just because we host all racemaps, they could play them on different servers as well - but they usually don't

So, vote for your 10 favourite maps, they will get released. If there will be hundreds of players on our race servers, if we will see a big growing race community, I'm sure we will add over 100 new maps But let's see what happens first

I mean I don't care about the race server personally, it's just even if there is a poll concerning DDRACE there wouldn't be 400 ppl here in the forum to vote. Instead there would be the same amount of people circa.

Fact is there were 23 ppl (60%) who voted for the race server and if we continue releasing on the race server its not just for THIS 23 people.

Thats what I wanted to clarify because it's not only you who use this as argument over and over again.

As said I don't care about the race servers, so don't try to convince me for or against the race server here.

Haha, that's exactly what i wanted to show. You can't say 23 is a majority, not even because just 38 players voted

As hi_leute_gll says, the MAJORITY has no idea what's happening right here you cant generalize this result because 61% of 38 players voted for releasing more maps you couldn't even generalize it when 100 players (of thousands) voted. Thats just wrong.

The only things thats right: the "mojority" of the players who know this forum, who saw this vote and who cared about taking part in it, is 61% for releasing more maps But this is not the opinion of the community, it's the opinion of 23 players
