So after everything is cooled up , I want to write an official excuse:

Yeah, I really fucked your map up just to get a rank, which was pretty egoistic(I still wonder myself how that could even work).
I see that you put much work in this map, to make it that faily and hard as it is today.I never had any problems with you personally and with one of your maps
or the way you did. In addition I can't even be proud of the finish, because deep in my soul I knew the run was cheated....
So I see my big mistake here and want excuse what I did.
I think its the right way to behave in that situation and the thing with save/load bug i talked to deen months ago, and even reported, when servers were attackable again.. Hope you remember that

Forris talked to many people to get his fake rank back (even with me). I think he talked with at least 5 people from ddnet. deen checked his video on youtube and the old versions of the map, so Forris wasted much of his time. I really think that this was too much, the staff on ddnet is not here to care for everybodys small "problems"!
In addition to this, Forris supported, that a cheat gets uploaded on ddnet, on a map from Kayumi, he could at least say something like "sorry" to Kayumi, i would really feel bad if somebody puts a dumb cheat in my map to finish it!
Forris, shouldn't be trial tester (since i know maggi i think he can stay trial tester), since we can't trust him at all. He lies to the staff and put cheats in maps, i as a Mapper wouldn't like to get my map tested by somebody like him.
I think Forris broke the onliest rule ("be nice") multiple times, he should get warned. Maybe he should be banned for some weeks or we should delete some of his points (maybe he cheated on other maps, too). Maybe we should just delete his map and don't accept further maps from him.

This is a community game. If you do wrong stuff, somebody should show you that you it do wrong!

ban I think is much too hard. if he have no special moderate(or whatever) powers he cant use it in devil way.

maybe if he say in which other maps he cheated too,(maybe 5 star solo) idk. or if he say if he wanted to cheat adrenaline 4 too, with a cut in the map. we can trust him someday again maybe.

to delete his map is not fair I think.(we could make a cut in but it is unreal and unfair for the players who played it)

I think he is a great player ,not that bad livestreamer, he talked something devil about other guys (I think) for example hi_leute_gll , and make fun about it, but hey all do mistakes. only a human.

I agree. I think a good punishment is to remove 10 top times.

When Maple faked my name, he got all his times legitimate. And they were good times and he got them legally (in game). But over 10 of his times were removed, and not only was he punished but I had to do all the maps over again. So if maple gets punished it's only fair Forris gets punished too. That's my opinion 'cause he did a pretty big no-no. I think admin should be consistent here.

We don't vote on punishments here. You can consider this thread his punishment if you want. I talked to Forris privately and he knows what will happen if something like this occurs again.

First of all thanks to Sherlock deen for solving the "Mistery of the Probably Cheated Finishes". You listed it up as detailed as possible so that nobody keeps any doubts in what happened and even the guilty ones apologized for what they did.

There are just two questions I asked myself over and over again when i followed this thread.

First one is, why active player like them can betray the community, mapper and player, without any evidences of regret.
It continues by being proud of such a rank, to show off with that but at the same time keep telling players that it's cheated.
They even told me it's cheated, as well as the youtube video of their run. They even explained me how they did that.
I cannot support such a behavior, but I got this known after I promised I would not say or do anything against what they told me...
For the fairness on our servers this turning of the happening was the best that could happen. Luckily this became revealed.

The second question is, why you kept lying after your ranks got deleted, because there were legitimate doubts about the fairness of your finishes. You got busted, but it has not been a big deal then. Almost nobody got known what happened, but your behavior after that was horrible. You sent deen and me a perceived 100 pages long story about what happened with "proofs" which should witness that your finish is not cheated. Your "proofs" (whatsapp-chatlogs, cutted youtube videos, etc.) did not help you at all, as you saw. Usually the video-cuts are before failparts... not even mentioning that you can nerver see a racing or a finishing time.
But what disappointed me most is that you even asked me to support you although i knew what happened. That you tried to lie to me in the same way as to the others made me lose trust in you completely. Even CuBe supported your fictional story in front of deen... You won trusting players/friends for your lies. Using these possibilities of our little & great community to your advantage is just disgusting.

Its nothing against Forris and maggi, only against this behavior. Im not known as a hater of them, I usually talk with them in teamspeak. But lying to a big part of the DDnet community is not the best application for you as players or even trial testers.

At least you apologized for what you did, after everybody got known it. Im just not sure whether future mappers will trust you or not. Im not sure whether I would want my map tested by you, I can just agree with Welf there.

So in conclusion I just want to say, Im against bans & other forms of "treatments" that were listed here, becaue I think everybody deserves a second chance. This thread and the negative impression they created of theirselves is treatment enough. As well as it should prevent following cheats like this by others.

I just would not let you test maps without other testers yet. As well as we should not take "fixed" map versions posted by them. It's needed as a safety for mappers AND players. And you can be sure that your ranks will get checked more critically from now on. It' what we owe the players of DDnet.

Lets continue - without treating for it, BUT without forgetting what happened, as well. Just the lost trust in you will not just get removed without any help
