...football tournament!!!

-1 there have been football tournaments in the past and nobody of you cared

Go to Utd. Legends and Stars if you really care for this mod. They have their own servers in Germany and did several tourneys in the past.

Maybe we could have a zCatch, OpenFNG, Block and Football tournaments on regular basis (every 4 weeks, for example - we could make one of them to be a bit earlier, to avoid time collision with DDRace tournament)?

Who shall organisate 4 tourneys every 4 weeks, even if people will wish more tourneys on other mods then?
And how shall players from different continents play together?

Also i think it would be better to support these communities instead of taking them over, like sponsoring servers for the Nano League and so. I think the few guys who are playing the football-mod active would be happy with a tourney, but with a one for that community not for bored DDNet-players. It would be better to take a look on how these communities are organisated before opening several servers and doing tourneys.

For me this idea it's not bad... let's do torunaments for other mods like openfng, foot, zcatch and blocker...
It will be amazing! So... let's do a poll?

We could reduce it if needed, but even from time to time - it would be nice to play in them.

But a lot of DDNet players are current or former members of such communities (for example, I was playing OpenFNG for like 2 years) and they may be interested to play like in the old days. ^^ Also, we could invite such communities to join that tournaments.
