If you dont want to pay, you can use davinci, its a grading program but you can also cut with it, the tesversion is free and i think the version is only limited in the grading area.

If you know how to do things well with it vegas is pretty expandable, though that learning curve compares to Adobe Premiere imo.

Vegas is good enough for teeworlds but its just a program for people who make Videos as a hobby.

I think Vegas introduce u in the right way to start using premiere pro... i have done like this:
●I started with movie maker (the first real start)

●Then i downloaded and bought Camtasia studio (that is like an "upgrade" of movie maker)

●after camtasia I started with Vegas pro (i bought it because i dont like crack). Im here that im learning well Vegas.

●After Vegas im planning to buy Premiere Pro... i dont know how it is but i saw some Ryozuki videos and i found it pretty nice

Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere are both fine options. You should just look at a couple of tutorial videos for both programs to judge for yourself to see what seems to fit for you.

Roco, you didn't specify what OS, so I'll throw in Final Cut Pro, which is for Macs, which is also the industry standard.

All these programs are very similar. The differences shine when it comes to advanced functions, which nobody really use anyway.

I personally stopped using Macs. As for Vegas vs. Premiere, I prefer Vegas because I like their UI for making transitions, since pretty much all videos use transitions. It's a basic, simple reason that smooths workflow for me. Plus, since nobody, including myself, don't really use advanced functions anyway, Vegas won over for me because Vegas takes ~1GB where Premiere takes ~8GB.

For recording Teeworlds, make sure you use OBS, Open Broadcast Software. Don't listen to people that recommend you Fraps or Cam(insert some words here).
