All layers, all tiles, new entities used in DDNet Client, friendly form, much helpful.


Used signs and what they mean:
Rotate.png

Rotating the tile has an influence on it - changes direction of effect.
Flip.png

Mirroring the tile has an influence on it - changes direction of effect.

It is possible to turn the tile ON/OFF with a Switch.



We are planning to expand our offer in the near future.
Site will get better (any) design, we will show examples for using problematic tiles, there will be other languages available.

Please, if you find any bugs, you have ideas how to explain things better - let us know!

Wszystkie warstwy, wszystkie tilesy, nowe entities używane w kliencie DDNet, przyjazna forma, tak bardzo pomocne.

Jest możliwe włączanie i wyłączanie płytki za pomocą przełącznika (Switcha).

The best way to learn about what tiles do is to look at other maps with entities on or in the editor. Especially useful if you see a part which you don't understand how you would map it yourself.

Hey I made it fast for you. Maybe it's not perfect :D You don't need these pink tiles and flags. Let me know if you need examples how to use it.

You shall not pass, laser. Laser and plasma can't go through it. You can make safe rooms with it or make laser shorter (I don't mean weapon).

You don't need to use CHECKPOINTS. It only shows if you are faster or slower. Rly not important here.

STOPPERS. You can shoot and hook through it but walk only in 0, 1, 2 or 3 directions. Can't go back. You can rotate it (don't mirror).
First: >> lets you go, | stops you.
Second: you can walk only left/right.
Third: you can't go through it.

ARROWS. Hard to explain without example. It moves weapons, heart, shield, laser. > is slow, >> faster. You can rotate.

PLASMA. Laser balls shoot at you.
First: it explodes, like rocket.
Second: tries to freeze you.
Third: Freeze + explosion.
Fourth: Unfreeze.

BULLETS. You get frozen if you touch it. You can rotate the tiles. Bullets bounce off the walls.

Nice explanation, I didn't knew that I can rotate some tiles to change their mechanics direction, thank you. ^^

This pink tile Old laser - I know how it works with shotgun (idk if it changes other weapons).
First - you can't hit yourself.
Second thing - it pulls other tee ALWAYS in your direction, no matter how it bounced off walls, from which side it hits tee - he alwyas moves towards you (see picture and decription)

I'm quoting this, to make explanation of all entities to be in one thread.

Also, the missing ones:
Coloured tees are the team spawn, not useful in DDRace (maybe we could use it somehow, btw?). The same goes for flags, they normally spawn flags in CTF game mode.
The wall jump entity is used for wall jumps - it refills your double jump if you stay inside it for a little while while touching any wall at the same time.
The refill jumps entity refills your jumps (all of them, not only the last one, if you happen to have more jumps at the time).

Btw. maybe we could put the whole thing on the website, if Lady Saavik allows us to? I'll try to describe tune, speedup, switch and tele layers when I'll have a while to check how to use them properly.
