Para X and Para Y

Post by dcgù »

Para X and Para Y
written by Index and the community, special thanks to Fnokurka & Lady Saavik

Here is a quick summary of the thread, just ask any other question related to the Para X/Y feature in the map edtior.

The standard of (Para X, Y) is 100 (both). That means, that object (bg, sun, ...) stays at one place. But if u change it to less nubers like 80 (both) it will be moving a bit along the axises. And if u put it like on 5, 5 it will follow you really long, then if u cahnge Para x,y to 0 (both) it will keeps following you all the time without changing place. It'ls also possible to add negative numbers - if you move left, it moves right, same with up/down

And the best thing is to just test it. Play around with different values and you'll see how it works.

Ok! It means that normal tile layers have para(X;Y) to 100 and bgs to 0. Thx

Hmm. If your bg follows you, yes.
