Yes, if its true what u guys/girls say you should delete Honkstar1-3 pls. They should be even worse in your opinion than Tonkstar. But hey, a lot people loved the maps. I only mapped what I like. There are so many trash maps on ddnet with repeating parts and shit parts. Take ama's fwys maps as example. But a map i think many people would play with some NEW parts and creativ stuff. Nope not released . Deen should release every bug free map or if he does not release map which are bad in the opinion of 3 1/2 people...he should delete 1/2 of ddnet maps. #stophatinthehonkunoobs

hello ddnet community here i want to show you something about the release system on ddnet. if i would be the mapper i also would be mad.
this map has a longer story (you can search old topic, if you really care), it was already close before release and then mapper decided to change some parts, so mapper thought for a long time, that it will be released, but what happened?
some testers only said their opinion about the map and it gets not released, even if some people wanted the release. who decided now? there was no discussion at all, only opinions. okay i dont want to analyse a map and tell others whats in.
so we heard like 10 opinions? people randomly say sth about a map and then there is a decision? in my opinion this is not fair for mapper nor for tester, we invested time for it, now it is wasted time, because of like 4 opinions?

in this post i wrote an opinion about the map and i got 2 answers, who just try to say that my arguments are shit. i dont want to fight for maps in this way. stop only seeing your own opinion, if i say there is sth good in this map you only search the bad parts to counter argument. i dont want to test a map, if other testers come after my test and tell me that map sucks and i shouldnt test it. today also 2 testers told me after my test, that i am testing badly.

i can accept, that ddnet is releasing maps, which i dont like, but i dont want to test maps, if afterwards everybody is complaining.

I think Welf wanted to say: He already tested the map. I fixed everything. Ready for release . -> some random guys appear saying the map sucks -> map not released.

So why should Welf even test maps if its not goin to be released anyway.
