Making parts that encourage blocking is very bad. People should have fun playing on DDNet - they shouldn't have to worry about being left or even kicked because of a non existing decently working waiting space, nor should they worry about being blocked by people trying to wait or even being blocked in general.

I can understand your idea and it might be cool to some degree, but in this case it doesn't fit and especially not at the beginning of a map.

Adding space to stand encourages blocking even more. Now you got a place to stand safe while blocking others. If you don't have any space to make your stand you cannot block others without getting blocked. I don't undersand you.

Why would you rather want a faily part at the end of the map instead of a faily part at the end of the map...
In my honest opinion it fits very well with the map difficulty & gameplay.

If there is only little space where you can stand, you have to "fight" for it thus it causes more blocking xd - people will get annoyed by it and block back or do other stupid stuff wich leads to a block fest and then others start to vote players because they are mad. On DDNet this is a very realistic scenario sadly.

There won't be as many people towards the end of a map and they will play more carefully ususally.

Is that your reaction? that's nothing I'd even consider. It's also even hard to just get to that part - nobody would risk anything at that point, It's almost as calm as 4q at part 2. If somebody would risk it at that point they probably don't care about finishing.

If it would be the case, you stop the silly fight by communicating with those involved. Those involved are most likely not usual DDNet players. (except for Mithrandir)

why can't u just make that one part a bit more group friendly, we aren't asking for the moon..
at this point it seems more about the personal pride of not changing the part than a rational decision

You are a good mapper, you can get it to work without influencing the gameplay..

Btw it is okay to have people fail as they progress, but they should fail in actual parts, not by trying to wait properly.
