The drag parts are not usual, if you call these drag parts usual, you can also call drag parts from Sickkunt usual (since its a combination between hooking, releasing, moving and rehooking as always).RayB. wrote: For a enjoying map you need enjoying parts which doesn't exist in this map. I don't see the enjoyment in playing usual drag parts with a little space and some super faily parts between them. The map is maybe playable but not enyoing.
The drag parts are challenging, they are rather unique and not copied from other maps. If you think, that some parts are too faily, we can talk about it, it shouldn't be the reason to decline a map, if only a few parts are "too faily".
Silex watched Lexin playing the map. So he took his time in order to think about the quality of the map, why would he saying something about the map without really looking at the parts?RayB. wrote:Yes but you actually said pros would enjoy playing the map. The only one who like it is until now is Lexin.Silex wrote:(i don't need to be a pro to see which maps are good, just saying)
I only doubt that you can asses what the players would think about the map. You just builded up your opinion but I tested the map with the mappers and other players and had more opinions in consideration before declining the map.
Who else wants to decline this map? You are talking about others, but don't call any names. Tell us who dislikes the map if you asked others for their opinion.
"We are more so we are right" shouldn't be a way to argue here... right now we are Silex, Lexin and me, who think the map is good enough for release.RayB. wrote:I don't need to ? I said the map is bad and I have enough players who would agree with me to decline the map.Welf wrote: And please trust Silex and Lexin, when they say something, instead of just saying "we are more who dislike the map so archive", that's not how to deal with different opinons.
We have Dataclaw, you and jao who said something negative, only you said no release. The opinion of jao does not really count, since he has a personal conflict with Tezcan (i hope Tezcan didn't lie to me there).
So we have 3 who said "release" and two who say "no release"
Until this post of you, you just said "no fun" and "bad mapped", that's not how you decline a map. You didn't write any good reasons and put the map back into archive. In general, if you want to decline a map, try to describe what are the major problems, you just said that the map is bad and that doesn't help at all.
There was a test on the map and somebody did screenshots, i am not sure if they will be tested (somebody who isn't tester did the screenshots, so we will see what happens).RayB. wrote:If you want to change parts do it instead of putting the map back again without doing nothing. I doubt you will come to a successful result.Silex wrote:This map has potential to get released and every part and some details are changeable, mr rayb-rage.
I put the map back into map testing, because i trust Silex and Lexin, if they say that a map is good/releaseable.
Then i put the map back into map testing, because i watched at the map and thought that it is good enough to get released.
In future there will be tests etc. on this map. I don't need to make screenshots about improvements in order to bring a map out of the archive. I put it back so people can test it and for me that doesn't sound wrong at all.
