Yeah, the easy world from Windowsusers.
Players who use Linux distributions may cant use the 10+ client because SDL2 sucks on some distributions. There are extreme lags so u cant play with this. So its just not fair.

You don't need a new client version to see the new hookthrough, you can just change the entitie image in order to see new tiles

That's not correct, DDNet 9 can't display unknown IDs, which is the reason why e.g. fng entities can't be used with it. DDNet 10 displays all IDs, thus also unwanted tiles like the hookable in font-layer, but also entities for fng and other mods.

Anyway...prediction will suck for DDNet 9 even with new images.

Yeah wow. With Ubuntu i had no problems, but i dont use it anymore.
