Oldschool maps have always given less points than other maps of the same difficulty. The reason is simple. In the early days we had quite a lot of Oldschool maps, but not so many new ones. If players just played the oldschool maps all the time, mappers would not send us their new maps.

I only want to say that it was epic when you played Falling Star, i've never seen a player so persevering and you should not give up if it's important for you. (i don't want to put shit here this is not the goal but I think a compromise is possible)

to be honest I don't really know why this single map is still such a big deal, but I'll try to write some additional things to this topic.
First of all, I'm really impressed that you never give up and just try and try until you eventually finish a harder map. That's something you can be proud of, because I would not be able to play a map for couple of hours, the same part(s) over and over again. So, I completely believe you that you and definitely some more players would enjoy playing the map if it would be harder as it is right now. But was the original map that much harder and better as it is right now? Right after your first post, I realized that this one part where I stupidly added endless was totally dumb and I already said sry for that. This particular part is now as it was in the original version. So, there are only four more changes compared to the original map, 3 made the map easier 1 even harder (see screenshots). In my opinion they are all minor and there is no reason to not like the map anymore because of these (really minor) changes.
So however I would like to say sry once again. I know that Imessed up with that map. But I did change some things back and I don't see any reason to upload the original version you posted in some of your older posts, sry. Furthermore I don't exactly know what you mean with your last post, but be sure that everybody's opinion is important. Everybody is at the same level and none's meaning has a higher priority than another. Nevertheless opinions are just like a suggestion, you say what you think, others discuss about your point of view and then they decide whether they follow your opinion or not. I know that it is right know just you and me, not really an open discussion. So of course I might be wrong and not uploading the unchanged old version is bad but I tried again to give you some reasons why I would not do it and I hope that we can finally forgot this whole topic and just move on? (:
Btw, maybe there's another server (like ddracepro.net) with the original version of that map if you love it so much.

I didn't follow this topic closely, but we released the map like it is already. We can't just change version now. I hope you understand. I'm closing this for now.
