Discussion Thread

DDNet Trashmap offers now a system to dynamically generate up to 10 servers and store maps of 100 servers. All information to the new trashmap can be found on the official sites (https://trashmap.timakro.de / http://zaf.ddnet.tw).

I hope the new system can improve your testing even further and make parallel testing possible.
Feel free to report any bugs on the github page (https://github.com/timakro/DDNet-Trashmap).

This is the official discussion thread, so feel free to write anything related here :)

Great! The webinterface looks a bit complicated, but hopefully will help people to test their maps.

Can I use it to test if my map is playable without a perfect ping (which I have on my local server xD)?

PS. Is it possible to delete a server when it's no longer necessary?

What do you mean by this? Of course you won't get the ping of your local server on trashmap.

Yes, at the Access Server page, the button at the bottom. But the server will also be removed automatically if it was offline for 30 days.

Ah, thanks. :)

I meant that sometimes I don't know if the part is doable, because I have extremly low ping on my local server - so it would be nice if I could test it on more distant server. ;)

You can now kick and ban annoying players on your trashmap server via rcon. The banlist will be saved on shutdown and loaded on start. You can manage your bans using the commands 'bans', 'unban' and 'ban'.
