It's not dumb, there are several reasons to no actively(!) support mods. They usually lack some sort of quality (also ddnet e.g. ninja skin in freeze, no hud support with scoreboard, no specific sounds, ..). Additionally the developers can't maintain or give active support as they have no influence ...

The map in your attachment can't be fixed (only 0's).
Another option might be some saved copies in the undo chache, but depends if you have that feature enabled and I'm not sure if it even works.

A quick look at the manual tells me that there is a 'disable resample' property. Maybe this helps.

dilate prevents this white/black outlines you can sometimes see ingame (http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Edge_padding). You can drag the *.png files into the executable and it will fix them. Should be used always after you have created a tileset or an image. If your graphics software has some plugins ...

Low fps are caused by unoptimized text rendering, so not really a map-related issue. Therefore I would ignore it imho.

Probably won't be fixed. I guess some floating point precision issue. Even though if someone want to try his luck: https://github.com/def-/ddnet/blob/30f0b9c8a21ece3240ec33bbe86d3fef542cd218/src/game/collision.cpp#L1092-L1123 Would suggest to replace that float for loop, maybe it fixes the 'problem'..
