If you're doing a >1000$ build than you would definitely want to go with a 1070, not a 1060, like pathos said. And even if you will get a 1060, the 6GB isn't a big upgrade from the 3GB, as long as they're both GDDR5 I tryed to make a custom pc with gtx1070... the config is around 1000€... is too mu...

Who recommended you RX 480? That's terrible advice. Get 1070. Nothing comes close to price vs. performance than the 1070.
