Edit: I just went through the saving code and the only thing I can imagine is your computer running out of memory, which would crash the client during a save. Still doesn't say where you're going at start.
With light blue background contrast is good. Dark brown and freeze is bad.
Map was finished by me, Ama, EryX, Welf I think.

No, TwitCh, it does not come with practice. You're supposed to test the map BEFORE sending it to us, not after.
