Re: DDNet client not updating?
I just had to wait some minutes, maybe some delay.
When entering noby's FNG server (the FNG server announces what version of the client is when entering the server), I noticed that few people already had the new version. Maybe they manually updated.

DDNet client not updating?
https://ddnet.tw/downloads
I see here that the latest version is 11,4. However, my DDNet client is not coming up with the "update now" button. How do I force it to update in-game instead of downloading from the site?

Re: I have 150US$ credit for AWS
I see. I'm sorry to bother you about this and it's good to hear that you tried, but I'm curious on the details because I have difficulty in believing that the no.1 player in the industry (though pricey) didn't deal with it very well. Is there a transparency report on what you tried? I think the comm...

I have 150US$ credit for AWS
I know that from talking with def- before, there is a strong preference for full control. I think that'll be possible for SSH, but not the Amazon account because it's a student account with credit, therefore Amazon account control cannot be controlled. On top of that, there is a lot of personal info...

New staff positions -- video content creators
https://www.youtube.com/user/DDraceNetwork This channel is inactive for 2 years. I was wondering about an idea; if a few people are selected (with the assumption that they accept) they can create high quality content for DDNet in that channel. It could also be a source of funding for the servers if ...

Re: Removal of Rule 11 in User Guidelines
Personally, I think admins can have the final say, while mods do not, unless there is a separate, clear ranking type of a mod (maybe it could be the highest mod rank?) that is given the authority to have the final say. @Ryozuki: instead of absolutes, as in "remove yes or no" answers, why n...

Re: 11.1.5 + emojis support compiler help
Hmm maybe the poll could have been: a) Remove b) Make it optional, off by default c) On by default To quote Star Wars, only Sith deals with absolutes! DDNet isn't a communication device, therefore we should remove the chat system completely! Haha jokes aside, maybe I'll try asking Jupeyy once more n...

Re: 11.1.5 + emojis support compiler help
I think persuasion is the only way to go. Let's take a look at this vote: https://forum.ddnet.tw/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6391 It's very close to half of the voters that wants it. The numbers difference between a majority and minority is miniscule, so I'm a little disappointed on the direction it too...
