Re: Zoom feature

HMH wrote:In my opinion zooming should be allowed for all gametypes. For vanilla the networkdatas you get are clipped anyway and if you zoom out you can see just a little bit more but not all tees on the specific map.
But how far you see depends on your ping when tees are moving, which makes it unfair.

Re: No more Tournaments

Alright, I guess I overreacted. If everyone still wants tournaments we will keep them, but without money.

And traffic is expensive. Smaller map means faster downloads as well.

We should probably do a last testrun and it can be released (Moderate 3*?)

edit: Thanks to Knight for explaining me that one part and for verifying the fixed things with me <3
Oooh, that means release. Sorry, I missed that completely! Released on Moderate

Re: Client crashes (in editor)

ELITE: That's a known bug for some people. You can use borderless window instead of fullscreen or set gfx_threaded_old 0 and gfx_asyncrender_old 0 (This increases your ping probably).

Re: No more Tournaments

No, it was quite successful... Just not the usual brute force approach.

Client crashes (in editor)

Sometimes the client crashes in editor. I have been looking for reasons, but couldn't find any. If anyone gets these crashes and can reproduce them, I'd like to know. For mappers it's a good idea to save their maps often, and always with a new name, so that you get a history of your map.

Re: No more Tournaments

Mio: This time it was a low traffic attack, but I couldn't find out how it worked. The traffic was only about 100 - 200 Mbit/s from what I could see.
