In my opinion the worst mistake you can do it in a map, is that you can fail for really mistakes, like you didnt hook somebody or this stupid hook one out of the freeze into unfreeze and fall in yourself parts, that is included in every map I couldn't disagree more. Could you explain what you mean with "any map for real noobs to start with"?

There is Basics (with tutorial on "how to jump" lol, how can it get more sophisticated :p), Hook School, Hammer School, Kobra, Pados, Multimap, Epix. They are good starter maps.

I agree that it would be cool to have this map on ddnet. I know it's a classic but I have never finished it.

I have seen the blue version before and quite liked it. So I vote for the blue version.
