Re: Botting

And so? They used a bot, so they must take the consequence, and HahaXD is actually right, deleting all points just makes sense, since nobody can tell how long they are already botting. It has nothing todo with hate or revenge. I think every normal human being knows that cheating in a competitive gam...

Re: Freezes in the game bcs of something in your client.

Assuming your PSU delivers enough electricity, and your GPU and CPU aren't overheating, I would tear the problem as following: The possible slowest components in your computer are: 1. your network(if you lag or something, which might feel like a freeze). Solution: test if you lag on your home server...

Re: DDNet Client 11 Beta test!

So thanks to CrashtimeHD, we probably found the root cause for the crashes or inconsistens on AMD hardware. It is indeed a driver bug like descriped here(if somebody is interested to know).

I will patch it now(luckily it's really easy to patch ;P), and deen will give you an updated version soon.

Re: DDNet Client 11 Beta test!

If you have nothing against compiling it yourself, go do it.
Since nobody yet successfully tested this client, it would be good to know, if you have problems too

Also the error actual means something like the executeable is 32 bit and your sdl lib is 64bit, have you downloaded the 64 bit one?

Re: DDNet Client 11 Beta test!

For AMD GPUs i will check, if there is some inconsistens in the GPU upload. @ChillerDragon Just to be clear. Your Menu is scaled very small, but the actual Map display works(even the quads)? Then i would like to know your resolution, any FXAA? Since quads and the menu items are handled very similar,...

Re: DDNet Client 11 Beta test!

I'd be honestly suprised if it's a CPU based bug, so the only thing left is either trying an older driver or making a debug version and check if some gl/GLSl functions aren't supported.

Re: DDNet Client 11 Beta test!

And you are 100% sure you use the latest AMD driver?

Can you go to the Graphic settings and disable multi texture units?

Re: DDNet Client 11 Beta test!

it would be really nice to know the map, because then i can see if there are special cases where the tilelayer wasnt setup correctly.
Also please post your GPU and update your driver always
