config_store stores the config inside of the map file itself. config_retrieve pulls out the config stored in the map and puts it into a regular .cfg file in the CWD.

okay. with dummy it all works perfectly, but with another player (in my case jimmy jazz, ping: 9 (my ping: 226)) its horrible if he drags me or we do hammerfly.
Of course it doesn't work with another player, you can't possibly predict what they will do.

Onionly .me' always wanted the same thing back when we started DDNet. Never got to it though. Would be nice to remove the client-side dummy entirely and replace it with serverside, but unfortunately that would make it feel a bit more delayed when switching between them.

KoG (King of Gores I guess) is a gores server network, similar to what DDNet is for DDRace. Their servers seem popular and run decently, so they have a reputation to lose.
