Re: DDoS mitigation
What is actually preventing you from making changes to fix it? Vanilla compatibility? How many people are actually playing with a vanilla client? Do we need to care? If a significant number of players do use the vanilla client, what about offering a few servers for ddnet-client only and keeping othe...

DNSBL
Hi, As of today I am unable to vote on the vast majority of servers due to "DNSBL". Looking this up, it seems to be a blacklist for E-Mail servers to prevent E-Mail spam. I appear to be blocked on three lists. One list has my IP blocked because it is "dynamic and for domestic use only...

Re: New ddnet server?
I have been "working" on a practice map - basically a gym for teeworlds players. I intended to just post about it on the forums, but if this becomes a thing, I guess there would actually be a server type where it would fit. (If it ever actually becomes a thing. My lack of motivation and th...

Re: "Ruby" by Pulsar and Ravie[Novice]
Generally, I like the map. However, I have to agree that the going back for weapons was confusing and annoying. I remember one in particular, but I didn't screenshot it. Maybe give the grenade launcher to one tee for free. I didn't mind the solos that much, actually. There weren't THAT many. I do ag...

Re: Editor improvements
@HNH: Not even C++11? Err... maybe not, then. The biggest problem really seems to be the editor codebase. I feel like editor.cpp really should be ~50 files instead of 1... @Index: Yes, you do get used to it, but it's still annoying to have to do the same thing over and over again. I'll just respond ...

Re: Editor improvements
Yeah, I saw that. When I saw the length of that file, I was rather startled. Could probably use some splitting. And no, I don't think it's just the messiness of the code, though that certainly adds to the problem; I think there are a number of things making me uncomfortable working on this code. C++...

Re: Editor improvements
It would actually solve that issue, since you'd always be painting in the layer you selected it from. I don't think grabbing something from one layer, then placing it on another is ever a good idea, but feel free to prove me wrong :D Also - I'm no longer sure I'm actually going to implement this. It...

Editor improvements
Hello, I recently started mapping and noticed that the editor is pretty terrible. I have a few suggested improvements. I would try to implement these myself, but I thought I'd get everyone's input on it, first. I found some mention of an undo function, but I couldn't find it. If it is a thing: How d...
